The body...clear. the wings...in a pleasant blurr due to movement! The whole creates the feeling of movement that I believe you were after! Well done...considering that action shots are difficult to take.

@Japanalia: Thank you. The real fun while making this shot was that I went for a walk with my 85 mm portrait lens and occasionally came to the seaside. Lots of time was spent on learning how to catch the bird with no-zoom lens but this one has a very nice picture and rather fast autofocus so I managed to make some.
